Iran is one of the countries located in the dry regions of the world. For this reason, on average, it has sunny and warm weather most of the time, and there is little snow and rain in most of its areas. Some of the countries in the region, which are located around Iran, also have similar climates and are considered desert regions. In this article, we try to examine and compare the average rainfall in different time intervals in Iran. Because knowing the weather conditions of the place of residence or even the whole country is important in many jobs and accurate information must be provided. The amount of rainfall in the regions is one of the elements that affects the choice of the type of villa construction and the construction of a wooden or concrete house .
Rainfall statistics
According to reliable statistics of water and wastewater management organizations, 25% of Iran’s regions are semi-arid regions. 40% of Iran’s regions are arid regions and 25% are semi-arid regions. According to these statistics, it is obvious that we are in a dry area of the world. And more was not expected. If we check the average rainfall in the last 50 years, we will come to this statistic that the water year 72-71 was the rainiest year in this half century. We have to explain here that fertilization of clouds can both reduce rainfall and increase rainfall. If the amount of substances injected into the cloud is too much, it will cause the cloud to tilt and we will definitely have a decrease in rainfall. But if the materials are injected in the required amount, it will increase the rainfall. Also, the selection of areas for cloud fertilization should have appropriate characteristics. That is, the rainfall should be more than 200 mm in that region, and in desert areas, this action should be done at high altitudes to have a good result.
Comparison of rainfall in 1401 and 1402
The year 1401 was one of the driest water years in the last 50 years in terms of rainfall. But it is expected that the year 1402 will have more suitable conditions and we will witness an increase in rainfall according to the rainfall patterns and forecasts of the Meteorological Organization. But in general, we are going through dry years in which little changes do not bring about big changes. However, we can hope that the next year, 1402, will be a better water year and the earth will restore some of its dryness.
